 What are Action Verbs?

Action verbs also called ( dynamic verbs) are verbs that describe actions. We can use them in the simple or continuous verb tenses.

Action verbs describe a physical action or activity.

Action verbs differ from stative verbs.

Note:

In action / dynamic verbs the Subject of  sentence performs an activity in which his/her movement of Body could be seen or observed.

For example,

She is playing tennis.

They are fighting.

Mike is swimming 

They have completed the task .

I will write the research next week.

She locked the door and left.
