What are reflexive pronouns?
🔹 Reflexive Pronouns
Definition:
A reflexive pronoun is used when the subject and the object of a sentence are the same person
or thing.
e.g, she taught herself .
I asked myself.
We paid the bill ourselves.
The door opened itself.
Means no one taught her, she did the action by herself.
It shows that the action reflects back to the subject.
Reflexive pronouns usually end in –self or –selves.

2.For emphasis (to show “alone” or “without help”)
Example:
I completed the project myself.
The manager spoke to us herself.
3.After certain verbs
Common verbs used with reflexive pronouns:
wash, dress, blame, enjoy, introduce, hurt
Example:
The child dressed himself.
We enjoyed ourselves at the picnic.
