 What is a Proper Adjective?

 Definition:

A Proper adjective is an adjective that describes  noun or a pronoun by showing a specific origin, Nationality or brand .

Note: A Proper adjective is  formed from a proper noun and is always capitalized. 

For examples,


Ramos was a Spanish footballer.

In the above sentence the word Spanish is a

Proper adjective that has been derived from 

a proper noun Spain.


In the same way,

        * She likes Chinese salt.

        *  We visited a British museum.

        * They are Indian musicians.

       The above highlighted words are Proper

Adjective.
