E smoking .fashion, uses, impacts and myths

Once I read
" A person who smokes never becomes aged;because he dies in his/her prime age"

we are in 21st centaury where everyone leads a busy life. Today the trends have been changed and change could be seen in every walk of life, from kitchen to mega parties new trends are being observed .

in current time as we see that Electronic cigarettes, also known as e-cigarettes or vapes, have been introduced since 2006 and are often promoted as a safer alternative to traditional smoking. They work by heating a liquid (e-liquid) that usually contains nicotine, flavorings, and chemicals such as propylene glycol and glycerol. This heating process produces an aerosol that users inhale. Although vaping is commonly believed to be less harmful than smoking, growing evidence shows that it can negatively affect human health.

E-cigarettes come in several generations, ranging from cigarette-like devices to modern pod-based and disposable products. While designs have evolved, their basic function remains the same. When e-liquids are heated, harmful substances such as formaldehyde, acrolein, and heavy metals can be released. These chemicals are known to cause irritation, inflammation, and long-term damage to body tissues. Nicotine is one of the most concerning components of e-cigarettes. It is highly addictive and can affect brain development, especially in adolescents.

Newer products contain nicotine salts, which allow higher nicotine levels to be inhaled more easily, increasing the risk of addiction. Flavorings, another major attraction for young users, have been linked to cell damage, respiratory irritation, and possible cancer risk. Vaping affects multiple body systems. In the mouth, it can cause ulcers, gum disease, and genetic changes linked to cancer. In the nose, it weakens immune defenses, increasing infection risk. In the lungs, vaping is associated with asthma, chronic bronchitis, and lung inflammation. It also increases cardiovascular risks by raising blood pressure, heart rate, and oxidative stress. Neurologically, nicotine addiction can lead to long-term dependence and act as a gateway to traditional smoking. Reproductive health may also be affected, with evidence showing reduced sperm count and risks during pregnancy.

Although e-cigarettes are sometimes used to help people quit smoking, they are not risk-free. Their easy availability and appeal to non-smokers, especially teenagers, raise serious public health concerns. In addition, second-hand exposure to e-cigarette aerosol can cause respiratory symptoms in non-users. In short, while e-cigarettes may expose users to fewer harmful substances than traditional cigarettes, they still pose significant health risks.
It is our prime duty to make clear that e ciggerats or vapes are as harmful as the traditional smoking.this is a myth that vaps are safer .we should avoid e cigarette and vapes which have really health risks.
